Chronicles 5:12-14 (New King James Version)(NKJV)
...and the Levites who were the singers, all those of Asaph and
Heman and Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, stood at
the east end of the altar, clothed in white linen, having cymbals,
stringed instruments and harps, and with them one hundred and twenty
priests sounding with trumpets-- indeed it came to pass, when the
trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard
in praising and thanking the LORD, and when they lifted up their
voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and
praised the LORD, saying: "For He is good, For His mercy endures
forever," that the house, the house of the LORD, was filled
with a cloud, so that the priests could not continue ministering
because of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD filled the house
of God.
Music
Ministry
The Music Ministry at Cornerstone offers a wide variety of opportunities
for church members interested in using their musical talents to
serve the Lord.
 Sanctuary
Choir
The Choir performs every Sunday at the 8:30 & 11:00 am services.
Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 7:00 PM - 9:00 pm and an
audition is required for persons 18 years and older. For information
and an appointment call the Music Department at 499-1620.
Choir members, you can now
download your song parts.
Special
Music
If you are a choir member and have a desire and talent to be part
of "Special Music", Call 210-499-1620 to schedule an audition.
Choir membership is mandatory.
Orchestra
If you are a professional musician, or play an instrument at a professional
level, you can audition for the Cornerstone Orchestra. Audition
by appointment only. Call the Music Department at 499-1620.
 Praise
& Worship Team
The Worship team members are selected from the Sanctuary Choir.
The Worship team leads praise and worship during the Sunday Evening
Service and special events. Membership in the Worship School is
also required..
Mountain
Movers
This children’s choir for ages 6-12 meets year round at 5:00 each Sunday evening. The children are trained to sing as they learn basic music theory. While becoming skilled in a fun setting, the children also learn how to apply their musical talents to ministry.
Mustard Seeds
Based upon Matthew 17:20, the Cornerstone children’s choirs start training 4 and 5 year olds to become Mountain Movers beginning with “the faith of a mustard seed”. Meeting at 5:30 every Sunday evening, this choir is trained in all the beginning skills to become a Mountain Mover.
